The Alliance has been created to give UK AI-focused SMEs a stronger voice in shaping national AI policy.

The mission is clear: ensure the UK’s 3,000+ AI SMEs are represented in the debate, which is too often dominated by big tech. We want to highlight the innovation, economic value and responsible growth that SMEs bring to the table.

Through collaborative research, policy submissions and engagement with government and industry professionals, the Business AI Alliance will:

• Champion SME perspectives in AI policymaking
• Promote responsible, right-sized adoption of AI
• Support environments where SMEs can thrive, grow and create jobs
