4most supports domestic abuse charity Yellow Door in optimising their reporting capability
23 December 2024
We recently had the opportunity to leverage the data and analytical expertise within 4most to support Yellow Door, a Southampton-based charity that provides resources to individuals and families impacted by domestic abuse.
Charities like Yellow Door often face significant resource constraints when it comes to optimising their analytical and reporting capabilities. For them, analysing trends and producing management reports can be a time-intensive task, drawing attention away from their primary missionâproviding critical support to survivors.
About the project
The three-week project centred on migrating a management information report from Excel to Power BI, a transition designed to improve insight capabilities and streamline reporting processes.
This upgrade modernised the charity’s data analysis and considerably reduced the time and resources required for generating reports.
What Yellow Door had to sayâŚ
âWhilst I absolutely trust that yellow door could have done this internally, it would have taken a lot of time away from other work. Having assistance in the early stages from 4most has allowed us to do this more quickly and keep our resources focused on our day-to-day work, which is so key in the charity sector.
We really appreciate your focus on us being able to run with the final product ourselves and know that this will make it much more sustainable as we go forwards.â
