Register interest- The opportunity to develop your technical and interpersonal skill set.
- Exposure to different areas of Credit Risk or Insurance.
- The ability to apply the technical and soft skills acquired through the 10 weeks into a variety of tasks and a project.
- A ‘buddy’ (recent graduate) who will support your wellbeing and answer questions around tasks, assignments, and everything in between.
- The opportunity to build your experience and career in a dynamic and progressive environment.
The 10-week internship programme will be split into 2 parts:
- Part 1 – will cover sector background information, regulations, interactive coding workshops and independent practice assignments.
- Part 2 – will be a practical project either working individually or as part of a team where you will have the opportunity to apply your technical and soft skills. You will also showcase your consulting abilities by presenting your results to senior 4mosters at the end of the project.
We do not expect applicants to have finance or credit risk knowledge, but they should be curious to learn about credit risk. Alongside this, we would love to see the following attributes when you apply:
Academic
We ask for you to apply with a discipline that’s grounded with quantitative aspects and strong statistical content.
Analytical
Our roles require a great deal of problem-solving, which means you need to be able to think of solutions given the resources and data that you have.
Decisive
A consultant gives expert advice within a technical or professional field, so you must be able to make clear and informed choices.
Supportive
We expect all 4mosters to be inclusive, compassionate, and helpful.
Honest
We don’t always know the answer, but we will find it! We expect you to be transparent in your approach and demonstrate integrity.
Self-motivated
We are always striving to improve and so it is important that you are keen to develop both yourself and 4most alike.
For those applying to our internship, please note that you will be expected to attend our London office for the entirety of the 10 weeks.
If you require any reasonable adjustments in order to complete the application process, please contact us at internships@4-most.co.uk.
- CV review & application form: This is where we will assess your CV and the answers you provided to our application questions.
- Excel test: Complete an Excel test for the next stage of the assessment process. This will allow you to apply your Excel skills to three tasks.
- Telephone interview: This stage allows us to get to know you (and for you to get to know us) through a 30-minute session with a 4moster.
- Face to face interview: The final stage is a face-to-face interview here at our London office with two 4mosters. This is also a chance for you to see who we are as a company and ask any questions you may have!
- Offer and feedback: All applicants will be provided feedback and, if you’re successful, you will receive an offer.
Please note: applications will work on a rolling deadline and will be closed once vacancies have been filled.
Yes, there is! As a graduate, you can see why 4most was voted ‘Best Company to Work For’ at the Credit Strategy Awards in 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2023, as well as at the Women in Credit Awards in 2021, 2022 and 2023.
We strive to create a working environment where each and every 4moster is given the opportunity to flourish and develop to their fullest potential. Collaboration is at the core of everything we do, and we are delighted to consistently be recognised year after year as a company that prioritises wellbeing and equal opportunity.
Equality & employee voices
- Each 4moster is a shareholder in the company and therefore benefits financially from our collective success and growth.
- Our Employee Council represents the wider business to ensure the voice of each 4moster is heard and decisions are made with everyone’s collective interest in mind.
- Our Diversity & Inclusion Board helps promote a working environment that makes people feel welcome and able to realise their potential, regardless of their background.
Training & development
We offer…
- A week-long bootcamp attended by new graduates covering a blend of technical and soft skills to help you become part of the 4most team.
- Consistent points of contact and support through an assigned HR lead, senior consultant and buddy, who will help guide your development and act as consistent points of contact and support.
- Access to training and ‘Personal development days’ which can be used to acquire skills of interest.
Career progression
- Graduates are encouraged to direct the trajectory of their career and get involved in areas of the business they are interested in.
- Drive your own progression thanks to our flexible structure.
- Get involved in a range of projects and business contexts, with this exposure helping to catalyse professional development.
Socials
Get involved with…
- An annual company-wide holiday to celebrate our hard work and bring everyone together.
- Regular office socials and celebrations in London and Leeds.
- Budgets for wider team socials and project socials.
- Plenty of 4most social groups and activities.
