Data Privacy

Our comprehensive data privacy and governance services are designed to support your organisation in its compliance journey, to ensure your data is managed effectively, and to securely mitigate such risks.

A growing challenge

In today’s digital landscape, organisations are facing increasing challenges to manage and secure critical, sensitive information. The stakes are high, with financial and reputational impacts on the line.

As data protection and privacy continues to evolve, new emerging risks are getting noticed, with a recent FCA survey highlighting data privacy as a top risk for AI.

What we offer

01
Privacy governance

Design and establish a governance model for data protection. This may involve defining clear roles and responsibilities to establish ownership, designing support policies (e.g. data protection policy) and frameworks (e.g. data ethics, AI governance) and identifying key metrics to monitor model implementation progress.

02
Change management and training

We provide ongoing programme delivery and tailored training support to increase privacy awareness and enhance employee skills across key stakeholders. We can support the design of communication plans, employee handbooks and privacy scenarios.

03
Data processing and breach response

Design internal and external data sharing guidelines, conduct legitimate interest and data processing impact assessments, and develop data breach incident response and breach impact assessment guidelines.

04
Data discovery and mapping

We support data identification activities such as drafting records of processing activities (Article 30 register), mapping data lineage and information flow.

05
Gen AI governance

Our team boasts extensive experience in building enhanced governance capabilities for the creation of AI- / model-ready data, plus the design of Gen AI Model Risk Management Frameworks.

06
Policy implementation

Operationalise policy compliance and supporting standard requirements. Design privacy controls and supporting procedures for controls assessment.

The question of AI

The Bank of England (FCA) released its third latest ‘AI in UK financial services’ survey in November 2024, showing that four of the top five perceived risks of AI are data-related, with data privacy and protection being the top risk.
